ِAdapt in organizes a large-scale afforestation campaign in Abyan* The #adapt_in Foundation, in partnership with the authority’s office for Environmental Protection, organized a large-scale afforestation campaign in Abyan governorate under the slogan “Together we protect our reserves.. For a sustainable environment ” the three-day campaign comes within the framework of promoting environmental awareness and actively contributing to improving the environmental situation. The campaign was sponsored by Dr. Tawfiq Al-sharjabi, and a number of volunteers and specialists in the environmental field participated in it, in cooperation with the General Authority for Environmental Protection. The campaign aims to plant a large number of trees in a number of state facilities and institutions and surrounding areas, to preserve biodiversity and reduce environmental degradation caused by climate changes. The campaign also includes awareness of the importance of these reserves and how to preserve them from various risks, including pollution and unsustainable activities that may threaten their sustainability. On the second day of the campaign, participants intensified their efforts to plant more trees in various targeted locations, and witnessed a wide participation of volunteers and supporters. This initiative is part of a series of environmental activities aimed at spreading awareness of the importance of afforestation, and encouraging individuals and communities to adopt environmentally friendly practices that contribute to building a greener and more sustainable future.
