Global Resilience Partnership (GRP) is an international initiative designed to foster resilience in vulnerable communities affected by climate change and other global shocks. Established in 2014, it brings together various stakeholders, including governments, NGOs, research institutions, and the private sector, to address the multifaceted challenges that climate impacts pose on vulnerable populations.
The core objective of GRP is to ensure that communities, especially in regions such as Africa, Asia, and Latin America, can better anticipate, prepare for, and adapt to crises. These crises include climate-related disasters, food insecurity, and socio-economic instability. By focusing on resilience, the GRP aims to build systems and infrastructure that are adaptable and can withstand unforeseen challenges, ensuring long-term sustainability and protection for those most at risk.
