An important dialogue entitled “Yemeni Women in Focus: Women’s Rights, Education and Global Justice in Yemen” was held in Dortmund. The event was attended by participants and interested guests from various cities across Germany, while several guests from Yemen joined the discussion online via Zoom.
The event provided an important platform to discuss the situation of Yemeni women, their rights, and the role of education in strengthening their position in society. The participants also addressed the importance of global justice and the need to highlight the challenges faced by women in Yemen.
The online participation from Yemen added significant value to the dialogue. It enabled the exchange of experiences and perspectives despite the geographical distance and strengthened communication between participants in Germany and Yemen.
The event demonstrated the importance of supporting women’s rights, promoting education, and strengthening solidarity and dialogue in order to build a fairer and more equal society.
